(I did not receive this letter till date) I even wanted to lodge a complaint with the consumer court. Infact now we have receive a lawyer notice from them for the dues.some days later somebody from the retention team called me up to enquire the reason for discontinuing the services. They said the will resolve the issue and wave of the charges due. I said that if they wanted to start afresh they were welcome. This was the last call from anybody in airtel. Bharti has recently forayed into retail business as Bharti Retail Pvt. Ltd. undera MoU with Wal-Mart for the cash & carry business. Airtel has established partnerships with some of the shops and restaurants in Guragon which will increase up to 3,000 shops. Airtel also has plans to make it in other Metro cities soon. Market for mobile payment is expected to reach $600 Billion by 2013. NFC (Near Field Communication) that uses contact-less method to also has great part in mobile payment and being implemented in many countries.
